All VPS and web hosting services provided by OrangeVPS are assigned IP addresses classified as Hosting or Datacenter (IDC) type. We do not provide or guarantee residential IP addresses. Customers should be aware of this classification before purchasing, as certain platforms or services may restrict access from Datacenter-type IPs.
The IPv4 address assigned to your VPS may originate from a different subnet than the one displayed on our test IP, Looking Glass, or network information page. However, this does not affect routing performance — the routing path remains the same, only the subnet of the assigned IP may differ.
OrangeVPS does not guarantee the provision of a native IP address — defined as an IP address directly registered under a Regional Internet Registry (ARIN, RIPE, AFRINIC, or APNIC). Assigned IP addresses may be advertised or utilized through other networks or transit providers. Customers who specifically require a native IP address for their Singapore-based VPS may request one by ordering the Native IP Add-on through our client portal.
Each VPS purchase includes one (1) complimentary IPv4 address change, available within 24 hours of the initial service activation. After this window has elapsed, any additional IPv4 changes require the purchase of an IPv4 Change Add-on. A 24-hour guarantee applies to each purchased IPv4 Change Add-on — if any issue arises with the newly assigned IP address within that period, OrangeVPS will resolve or replace it at no additional charge.

Hello!
We’re currently experiencing an issue with one of our hypervisor in Singapore, which is causing your VPS to display the status “Unavailable.”
Our team is working with our datacenter team in Singapore to resolve this. In the meantime, we’ve initiated disaster recovery, and your VPS data will be restored to the most recent point available: from 26-06-2026 to 07-07-2026.
Please note: while your original VPS was running on the affected hypervisor, we’re actively working to restore service as quickly as possible and will continue efforts to bring the hypervisor back online.
We will review and add to our priority list all customers who require older data by submit to ticket. If you need to recreate your VPS on another node instead of waiting for the hypervisor recovery, please let us know by replying in your ticket or contacting [email protected]
Thank you for your patience, and we’ll update you as soon as we have more progress.
